Are You In? Entries Sought for Excellence in Public Relations

The Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is now seeking entries for its 62nd annual Virginia Public Relations Awards.
All public relations professionals who implemented a public relations program or tactics in 2008 are eligible to enter the awards program. The Virginia Public Relations Awards honors medallion and certificate of merit winners in each Silver and Bronze category, and Best in Show Awards, which are selected from the medallion winners.
In the Silver Medallion/Public Relations Programs, 16 categories are offered, ranging from Community Relations, Events, Marketing Consumer Products and Services, to Investor Relations, Crisis Communications and Internal Communications.
In the Bronze Medallion / Public Relations Tactics, 26 categories are offered, ranging from a variety of Media Relations tactics such as print materials, Internal and External Video, Public Service Announcements (PSAs), Websites, Blogs and Multimedia.
The deadline for entries has been extended to 5 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2009.
Everyone is invited to attend this year’s Virginia Public Relations Awards Dinner, where the winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 3, at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Look for more information on event tickets soon!
