The workshop will be held at the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence, 7501 Boulders View Drive, Suite 101, from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The informative, half-day workshop will feature noted presenters on:

Developing your organization’s social media presence
Community resources for nonprofit organizations
Thirty-one nonprofit organizations that applied to the 2012 Nonprofit Alliance are invited to participate in the workshop to strengthen the work they do in the Greater Richmond community. Chapter members who are interested in helping out at the workshop are invited to contact Windy Campbell, windycambell@mindspring.com or Glenn Birch, Public Service Committee Chair, glenn.birch@vacu.org.
Partnership for Families Northside
The Public Service Committee continues its work with the Partnership for Families Northside, the organization chosen for its 2012 Nonprofit Alliance. The Chapter will design a research-based communications plan to support the Partnership’s strategic initiatives. The Partnership works with more than a dozen nonprofit agencies to offer programs that promote success for children and families in Richmond’s Northside.
Focus groups are being held with the organization's constituent groups and will guide our formal communications planning. If you'd like to help, please contact Chet Wade, chet.wade@dom.com or Glenn Birch, Public Service Committee Chair, glenn.birch@vacu.org.
