Nonprofit Alliance offers PR assistance to nonprofits

The deadline to apply for professional PR assistance for nonprofit organizations is less than one month away.

Applications for PRSA Richmond’s Nonprofit Alliance are available on the PRSA Richmond website. All applications are due by Monday, April 1.

Nonprofit organizations may seek help with strategic planning, managing an event, or communications tactics such as media relations, social media, or internal communications. The PRSA Public Service Committee will review applications and select one organization to support in 2013.
In addition, a free public relations workshop will be offered to all nonprofit organizations that apply.

PRSA Richmond members can help by encouraging their colleagues in the nonprofit community to apply. In addition, members are needed to help judge the applications, work with the selected nonprofit, and plan the fall workshop.
If you can help, please contact Public Service Committee Chair Glenn Birch, glenn.birch@vacu.org, (804) 560-5664.
