Event Description

Effective Crisis Communications

Join us on Wednesday, Sept. 29 as Southwest Senior Communications Manager Brandy King discusses crisis management from the perspective of an industry that has been through drastic changes over the past decade.

Recent crisis situations at companies across all industries have created doubt that public relations practitioners can effectively communicate during a crisis.  Southwest Airlines, however, has repeatedly weathered stormy situations with success. It is no coincidence that Southwest, the nation’s largest airline, not only has a positive reputation with the American public, but within the public relations industry. From media relations to investor relations, from governmental affairs to crisis communications, the Southwest Communications team holds a significant influence over the company’s standing.
