Winning a Virginia Public Relations Award is an accomplishment. These awards highlight the best and most exciting PR campaigns and initiatives from across the state. To win either a Silver or Bronze demonstrates the use of research, strategic planning, impeccable execution and measurable results.

 

Come join us as we hear from “best of the best,” the winners of the 2009 Virginia Public Relations Awards Best in Show for both campaigns and tactics, as they share details of their award-winning projects.  

 

The case studies presented will be:

  • Silver Medallion Best in Show Winner – “Uncovering George Washington’s Boyhood Home,” presented by:
    • Paula Raudenbush, director of marketing and communications for the George Washington Foundation
    • Michael Whitlow, executive vice president, CRT/tanaka
    • Becky Comstock, account executive, CRT/tanaka
  • Bronze Medallion Best in Show Winner – “Utility Talk (Newsletter),” presented by:
    • Angela Fountain, communications manager, Department of Public Utilities for the City of Richmond
