Social Media Tools to Engage, Converse,
and Build Loyalty

 
Social media was the ideal platform for ChildFund International to use to raise its visibility after a name change last July. Almost a year later, hear how the organization continues to raise its visibility and measure its social media success.   
 
Please join us as we hear from Cynthia Price, who spent her first year as director of communications for ChildFund International (formerly Christian Children’s Fund) helping to lead the organization’s name change, rebranding strategy, and launch of its new Web site. She also oversaw the implementation of its social media strategy.

Biography

As director of communications for ChildFund International, Cynthia Price drives communications efforts, integrating them across platforms, international regions and divisions. She also manages reputation risk for the organization.   She currently serves as president of the 1,500-member National Federation of Press Women and serves on the boards of Virginia Mentoring Partnership and Coal Pit Learning Center.

 
Prior to her current role, Price spent 10 years overseeing the image of the Richmond Police Department where she managed crisis communications and day-to-day communications. Before joining the Richmond Police Department, she launched a business magazine for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She also was a reporter for newspapers in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
