Event Description

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the October chapter meeting has been RESCHEDULED for Friday, Nov. 9. The time and location for lunch remain the same as usual. Everyone who registered for the Oct. 31 meeting is AUTOMATICALLY registered for Nov. 9. You don't need to contact us UNLESS you are unable to attend on Nov. 9. Guest fees will be refunded if needed. Registration will remain open through 11:45 PM on Thursday, Nov. 8. We apologize for the change in plans, but hope that members and guests can join us on Nov. 9 to hear our panel of experts on Pinterest. Please contact prsarichmond@comcast.net if you had registered for Oct. 31 and can't attend on Nov. 9.

A Panel on Pinterest

What do wildlife, needy children, tourism and the world's best cheddar have in common? With more than 16,000 followers combined, the National Wildlife Federation, ChildFund International, Visit Richmond and Cabot Cheese are some of the top local and national organizations using Pinterest, one of the fastest growing social networks online. Join us as their social media officers showcase their Pinterest sites and detail how they use the platform to connect with their organization's audiences, what their pinning strategies are and how they evaluate their efforts. There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.

The panel will be moderated by Tristana Trani, social media strategist with Virginia Commonwealth University.

Panelists will include:
