Please join us for the annual Past President’s Luncheon where James Dunn, retired president and CEO of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and organization consultant for Bon Secours Richmond Foundation, discusses “Why and How the Success of our Community Impacts your Business and Profession."
Jim Dunn retired as president and CEO of the Greater Richmond Chamber after 18 years. During his tenure as president, Jim secured $75 million of special funding to support regional public-private economic development and transportation initiatives. He also was instrumental in raising funds for programs in early childhood development, crime and public safety and workforce development.
Dunn’s many honors include Style Weekly “Richmonder of the Year”; Chamber “Executive of the Year” for both the Virginia and American Chamber of Commerce Executives Associations; and Leadership Metro Richmond’s “Ukrop Community Vision Award.”
Most recently, Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine presented Dunn with a lifetime achievement award from the Commonwealth of Virginia for his leadership as a champion for investment in early childhood education.
In October, Jim joined Bon Secours Richmond Health System as an organizational consultant.
