Public Service

Nonprofit Alliance: Public Service Assistance for Nonprofits

Do you want to have an impact on your profession and your community?  Then consider devoting time to the PRSA Public Service Committee in 2012.

“PRSA Serving RVA” is the overall Chapter Theme in 2012.The work of the Public Service Committee will be central to helping our chapter meet this challenge.

We’d like to involve PRSA-Richmond members with a broad range of skills, and we invite you to join us.

Our goals include:
  • Carrying out a worthwhile PR project for a deserving non-profit organization in 2012
  • Gaining positive attention for our efforts, our chapter, and the profession
  • Organizing a “PR Basics” workshop that promotes idea sharing and relationship building between non-profit representatives and PRSA professionals.

This will be a great opportunity for you to put your skill and experience to work on behalf of the community. Or, you may find ways to gain professional experience in new areas. There are many ways to be involved.

Please contact Glenn Birch, (804) 560-5664 if you would like to serve on the Public Service Committee in 2012.
