The social web is made up of an endless combination of different platforms, applications and user experiences, all of which have contributed to the explosion of social web use, as well as difficulties in measurement and accountability.

Join Chris Leone, Chief Marketing Officer of WebStrategies as he shares methods for identifying where value exists in order to optimize your social marketing campaigns.

RSVP Policy:

In order to comply with the guarantee policy of the Downtown Richmond Marriott, all RSVPs for lunch meetings must be made by 11:45 p.m. on MONDAY of the week of a meeting. After that time, members and guests will need to call Sara Hunt at (804) 994-1120 to see if space is still available or to be put on a waiting list if needed. Please RSVP early in order to ensure that you are included in the headcount for lunch!

If you register as a guest and later determine that you cannot attend, please contact Sara Hunt, Chapter Administrator, at prsarichmond@comcast. You must cancel prior to 3 business days in advance of the meeting to be eligible for a refund. If you cancel after that deadline, you will still be responsible for the lunch payment and will be billed if you didn't already pay online. No-shows will be billed for the lunch.

Leveraging local partnerships to land national attention: How a nonprofit told the story of conjoined twins

Richmond-based World Pediatric Project was founded in 2001 as International Hospital for Children, with the mission to link worldwide pediatric surgical, diagnostic and preventative resources to heal critically ill children in developing countries. In 2011, the case of Maria Teresa and Teresa Maria, now 18-months-old, gave the nonprofit organization the opportunity to partner with Children’s Hospital of Richmond of the VCU Health System to facilitate separation of the girls, who were were born sharing a digestive system and liver.

Join us as Jennifer Curtis, APR, director of communications for World Pediatric Project, shares her experiences in telling this touching, sensitive story with national media, including the coordination of a TLC documentary on the case.
