Rules

Tactics and campaigns produced in part between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year preceding the awards ceremony are eligible to be submitted. Remember, your work has a better chance of winning when its implementation is at or near completion. Judges love it when you can compare your initial objectives against measured results.

You must select a single category for each entry. However, you may submit a campaign for a Commonwealth Award and then submit individual tactics within that campaign for Capital Awards.

A concise summary must accompany each entry. Capital Award summaries are allowed 400 words, and Commonwealth Award summaries are allowed 800. The summary is the single most important component of the entry. Judges evaluate entries based on research, planning, implementation and evaluation. Because Capital Awards are tactical, they are also assessed on creativity and technical excellence. In the summary, don’t forget to include information about target audiences and budget. And remember that results should always tie back to measurable objectives.
